The DiSSCo team

The development of the DiSSCo proposal was a complex undertaking that included a series of projects for developing the science case, technical design and putting together an elaborate governance and financial model.

More than 150 individuals in 21 countries were involved, in some capacity, to the development of the proposal and the consortium.

The development of the application package included several groups with distinct responsibilities as follows:

The DiSSCo Steering Committee consists of the directors and other personnel of those institutions that contributed financially to the preparation of the DiSSCo proposal for inclusion on the ESFRI roadmap 2018 and the Coordination Team. Its members are:

The DiSSCo coordination team leads the work on (i) development of the proposal and consortium, (ii) securing the required political and financial support, (iii) managing (and contributing to) the writing-up process of the proposal, and (iv) the final hand over of the application package to the submitting ESFRI delegation. The team operated in a distributed manner and is comprised of 6 members as follows:
