DiSSCo Prepare (2020-23)

Getting ready

DiSSCo launched its preparatory phase in February 2020 with a clear goal in mind: to reach the overall readiness necessary for starting the construction phase of DiSSCo RI. To achieve construction readiness, DiSSCo Prepare set up to develop capacity around five critical implementation areas: technical readiness, scientific readiness, data readiness, organisational readiness and financial readiness. You can think of DiSSCo Prepare as the booster that DiSSCo needed in all those areas to be ready for construction.

DiSSCo Prepare culminated with the publication of a comprehensive Construction Masterplan that will guide the Construction Phase of the fugure Research Infrastructure.

DiSSCo Prepare built on the successful completion of DiSSCo’s design study, ICEDIG and the outcomes of other DiSSCo-linked projects such as Synthesys+ and Mobilise.
